Australian Total Diet Study

This study monitors pesticide and contaminant residues present in food and estimates their intake in the diets of Australians. FSANZ uses this information when developing food standards.

Listeria and Food

This brochure explains how to reduce the risk of infection by Listeria microorganisms. It is targeted at people at risk—pregnant women, their unborn and newborn children, older people (65 years and older), or the immuno-compromised. The brochure sets out foods that are safe and those at ‘higher risk' of Listeria contamination.

This book contains Chapter 3 of the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code (applies to Australia only). The guide was prepared to assist with interpretation of three of the food safety standards in Chapter 3 of the Australia New Zealand Food Standards Code. They are: 3.1.1 Interpretation and Application; 3.2.2 Food Safety Practices and General requirements; 3.2.3 Food Premises and Equipment.
