Each year, we receive around 30 applications to amend the Food Standards Code. These can cover everything from novel foods and processing aids to labelling and food additives.
Anyone can make an application and we’re here to help. Our pre-application assistance service can guide you through the legislative information and data requirements in the Application Handbook. This is especially useful for novel or complex food applications.
Engaging early can help clarify the data we need for your proposed change, strengthen your dossier and give your application the best chance of progressing smoothly through assessment.
